Candida is beneficial for our digestive system, however at times due to many different lifestyle choices we experience an overgrowth. An overgrowth affects each of our body’s systems can be difficult to diagnose. Not to mention, a real pain to deal with if you aren’t aware you have an overgrowth. If you are experiencing anything “weird,” or out of norm, it is possible you have a candida overgrowth. The following questions will help you determine if you are experiencing a possible overgrowth.
If you answered yes to 6 or more for men or 8 or more for women, you may have a Candida body burden and should consult with your primary physician to confirm its presence. Candida overgrowth can be confirmed via a candida antibody assay blood test, or a urine test for candida metabolites.
SELF TEST: If you are not in a position to see a doctor for additional testing, you can test for an overgrowth yourself. Avoid carbohydrates and take 2,500 mg of biotin for three days. If symptoms improve, more than likely you are suffering from a candida overgrowth in your intestines.
Once confirmed we have several programs which help you complete wellness programs to overcome candida overgrowth. It can be difficult to eliminate effectively. Therefore, we will work side-by-side with you and your doctor to ensure your program is successful.
