Need a topping for fish, chicken, or just a vegetable packed meal?  This recipe is the way to go.  If you really want to push the calories, throw some bacon bits into this dish and you have just created the BEST vegetable dish ever!

You can create this dish using whatever vegetables you want.  The best choices for this are broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, okra, squash, and zucchini.  This is also easy enough to have the kids help you with this one.


1 package frozen Okra – $2.19
1 package frozen grilled Asparagus – $1.97
Gorgonzola Blue Cheese – $3.99 (used over 3 recipes)

TOTAL:  $8.15 – 4 servings = $2.04


1/2 package frozen Okra
1/2 package frozen Asparagus
1/3 C Gorgonzola Blue Cheese

1.  Heat EVOO in a skillet over medium heat.
2.  Stir fry vegetables only until heated through.
3.  Turn off heat, add blue cheese and mix into the vegetables until melted and creamy.
